What is Acemannan?
Acemannan is a uniquely structured, biodegradable polysaccharide containing acetylated polymannose, found in the inner leaf gel of the aloe vera plant (in a wide variety of molecular weights). It is mainly composed of mannose (84.9%), glucose (7.2%), and galactose (3.9%), with backbone of (1→4)-linked mannose and glucose.
A little history, first…
It wasn’t until the mid-1980’s when Dr. Bill McAnalley, a research pharmacologist, discovered and stabilized aloe’s immune-optimizing molecule. It was named Acemannan. Carrington Labs was created to commercialize the first stabilized Acemannan. Over $100M was spent on the validation of its safety and unlimited health benefits. Over 30 patents on Acemannan were granted on its stabilizing process and its wide range of pharmacological uses (first patent #5308838). While Acemannan doesn’t heal anything, it allows the body to function the way it was designed to.
However, there is a tricky part to reaping the incredible benefits of Acemannan, it is only active for 24 hours once the leaf is broken. 99% of aloe vera juices and supplements tested did not contain any immune modulating Acemannan fractions. The extraction and stabilization technique is critical to ensure the highest amount of bioactive Acemannan fractions.

The filtration technique is another critical manufacturing step. This part of the process, if not done correctly, can damage the active molecules or allow in less than ideal weight fractions. Acemannan with molecular weights of 50-400 kilodaltons (kDa) make the biggest impact on our immune system’s functions of defense and repair.

Acemannan’s unique structure binds to macrophage cell-surface receptors and activates their broad range of defense and repair functions. Macrophage are the master regulators of our immune system. No other molecule in nature or medicine has shown the capacity to function as efficiently as Acemannan in providing this benefit. *

Why ALOVÉA?
The foundational strategy for formulating the most efficacious health-building product was to secure the exclusive rights to the world’s best-in-class ingredients and combing with our proprietary Acemannan extract. Dr. Santiago Rodriguez developed a new extraction process that provides the highest level of immune-modulating fractions of aloe vera Acemannan. He donated this technology to the HOPE Movement. It is known as Alovéa AE (Acemannan extract).
[1] The majority of all aloe-based products are NOT stabilized and contain little to no Acemannan.
[2] Stabilized aloe products contain an average of 4% immune-modulating fractions of Acemannan per gram.
[3] Only Alovéa Immun contains at least 18% immune-modulating fractions of Acemannan per gram.

Did you know?
It would take drinking eight (8) gallons of aloe vera juice to get the same level of Acemannan as one serving of Alovéa Immun!
